I live in NYC.
I've visited every state from Maine to Florida - on the coast... at least for a drive through.
I've visited Colorado, New Mexico... live part time in California... visited Montreal, Canada, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.

I suppose South Africa when I was living in upstate NY.

I was raised in Indiana moved from their to Iowa from there to South Carolina to Alabama back to Indiana now back in Iowa

When I was a kid, my family traveled quite a lot, but never very far. I was only 3 months old when we went to Montreal, so I really don't count that. My father had a favorite restaurant in New Orleans, so we went there a few times a year, and I love it. We had a summer house in Hyannis Port, and Cape Cod is a marvelous place. San Francisco was the place for shopping, in my mother's eyes, so we went there, too. My friend's parents had airplanes, so they took me along on many of their weekly trips to the Bahamas. I ran away from home in Miami, and hitch-hiked to New York. Many years later, my husband wanted to come back to Miami, and I've been here ever since, with nowhere else in my adult life at all, unless you count places an hour or less from here by car.

I've spent most of my life in California but I did spend a year living in Kentucky and have been to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. That's as far away from home as I've gotten :)

my family and I lived there almost 4 yrs. my dad was in the army.

I've been to Europe. I guess that is the furthest. That was when I was 11-1/2 years old. My husband and our family take a road trip every summer and we've been up and down the east coast of the U.S. a few times. We've been to Nova Scotia in Canada - that is the furthest since we started the trips in 2003. We've also been to Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama. We want to drive to the middle of the country at some point - maybe next summer? We love to travel, just not by plane.

I am from Oregon, and I guess Mexico is the furthest I have been.
My children went even further and staid on a military base in the country of Panama with relatives. This was not only a learning experience for my oldest child, but he up and moved off to the big city recently!

If we accept that the circumference of the Earth is about 24859.82 miles, I've been as far away from home as you can get. I was born and reared in SoCal, where I now live, and I've been on six of the seven continents (never made it to Antarctica).

(9,370 miles from my home at the time).

I live near Valley Forge in Pennsylvania, that's about 25 miles from Philadelphia, so I am in the middle of the eastern states of the US. It is about 125 miles to the Jersey Shore so not far from the Atlantic Ocean.
To the south I have been to Lakeland, Fl, near Tamp.
To the north I have been to Toronto, On.
To the west I have been to Salina, Ks.

I have been all over the country,, and even to germany once

I have never left Missouri. I have got to get away to other states before I get to old to travel.

Italy is as far as I've gone. Missed a flight to Athens, got disgusted and headed back to the States. :-(
