thanks diane.... I just heard that Mass with have a lot of snow this winter... I wonder if my magnolia is saying "Noooooo, bloom baby bloom, just one more time..."

easter lilies outside? hmmmm... the bees must be going crazy..they were putting on their hibernating pj's and now they have to get back out there to work.

We've always replanted them outside after the are done blooming at Easter time. I'm not sure these will make it if they don't hurry and bloom as the forecast is saying "Frosty" in a day or two here. oh yeah :(

wow, those are big. I hope they do survive the frost. You could put a cloth over them or newspaper to protect them.

I have had this tree for 16 years and usually "she" blooms in the spring for 1 week and then the green leaves come in. Then in the fall, "she" sheds her foliage for the winter.

Wow that is crazy! I hope it does it more and more next year. We have a plant not too sure what it is but it bloomed 4 times this year and for the past 14 years it had only bloomed 2 times..

I think some of the plants are confused because of the cooler and wetter than normal summer we've had.......I have an azalea blooming for the second time this year. My white roses keep getting lots and lots of new blooms on them.....it is a little strange. I will have to look at some of the magnolias around here and see what they are doing.

my other bigger magnolia has only bloomed once in the beginning of the spring. Your white roses must be beautiful. Do they have a sweet scent? Have you ever smelled the scent of a purple rose? they are my favorite.

I had a white magnolia and the leaves are very tender and fall off in an instant when the wind blows, so I asked my husband to buy me a pink saucer type... I love this one.

The weather certainly hasn't been cooperative this year. I'm still waiting for monsoon to kick in, all we've had are 2 nice little 'storms' lasting maybe half a day and that just don't cut it. Fall supposed to be coming and still triple digits, 105 all next week, yikes! The magnolia is beautiful, just enjoy it!!

I've never noticed how often my neighbor's magnolia bloomed, I always thought is was all summer.
I've never had an Easter lily that actually bloomed at Easter time, always after. Kim's is way early.
Our crepe myrtles are going great all over town.
We've been having a week of rain, but that just means my morning glories bloom until nearly dark.

oh, maybe ..I should do more research on the pink magnolia's .... maybe mine for 16 years didn't bloom the right way...and finally it is? hmmmm.

i'm not sure I know what a morning glory is? are they big?
