                                           First trip back to Ky. in many years! going to visit my favorite sis and connect with her grown daughter, who is much like her mom. Will walk in the woods, eat really good  "fresh from the garden" food, share stories, and HUG a lot!
                                           There's lots of wildlife out there, far from the cities. I know I will get to see something awesome, and perhaps get a few photos to share.
                                        Friday afternoon, I am OFF to Adventure! Hold down the fort for me,ha! And feel free to check out some of my older stuff if you begin to miss me,lol......

Hey, guys!!! I am up here having a blast, but my cell phone won't work and they have slow dial-up, so can't share until my return...but.... another sis bought me a ticket to FLY to the State of Washington friday, and I shall visit there a week also before flying home...wayyyyyy cool, yes?

Far from city lights? Don't forget on August 12 to lie out on a lounge chair looking northeast after dark and watch the Perseid meteor shower.

My folks and many relatives are from southern Kentucky. It is a beautiful state. However, where you are going has dinosaurs!!!!!

Well, some of my relatives told me they knew friends of your relatives who play two cards at Bingo and often discuss you, but readily admit they do not know you except for the peacock feather dress you once wore. Some are wondering about having a parade for your visit, but most have a wait and see attitude to see if you're wearing a coonskin hat and buckskin britches to get started right away.
Yes, the people of Kentucky are counting on you to reclear the Cumberland Gap. I know you can.

It is flooding in most parts there now, I sure hope where you are going is not one of them. Getting back to nature is good for the mind. Makes you wonder why it takes so much more to live in the city.
I hope it is high and dry and your vacation is a great adventure. Have fun and enjoy God's beauty.

My son still lives on the "sunny side" of Louisville KY, in southern Indiana! I was born in the Bluegrass state myself...LOL Enjoy your trip!
