I wish I knew more about some things but since I don't know, I thought I would ask here on Gather and see if someone will answer it for me.
I'm trying to find out how many (or approx) how many JPEG images I can fit on a CD.
The CD holds 700 MB. The JPEG images are 187 KB total size each (according to the information listed under the "properties" when I right-clicked on the images).
So does anyone know how to figure out how many images of that size I can store on the 700 MB CD?
Thanks for the help.
I have to go get some things done and I'll check back at the end of the day to see what answers have been left for me.

1024 x 700 = 728,000 / 187 = 3893
Therefore:
1024KB * 700 = 716,800 KB available on a CD (approx.)
716,800 KB / 187 KB = 3,833 image files.
HOWEVER, the actual number of files you can write to the CD will likely be less than the amount listed above. The final amount will depend upon the application used to write the files and your operating system.
It's always possible you could simply upload each photo to www.photobucket.com and provide others with a link to the collection.
