Longest Dreads?

MIAMI (AP) - Asha Mandela hopes to capture a new world's record -- and by more than a hair. The South Florida woman started growing her hair 20 years ago and now has locks longer than she is tall. Her dreadlocks measure 8-feet, 9-inches. She's submitted her paperwork to the Guinness people for the new record category, World's Longest Dreadlocks. Mandela says it takes a whole bottle each of shampoo and conditioner when she washes her hair. She adds it can take a whole day to fully dry.

I don't know about that. I hope she's at least getting her shampoo and conditioner at the dollar store. Even at $1 per day, that can get kind of expensive.

That is a lot of hair to take care of. Mine is past my shoulders and that is a lot for me to take care of. The dreadlocks I'm not really sure about.
