I went to the pharmacy to drop off a prescription, but the pharmacist did not show up today. I was a little annoyed, but saw a sign for another store in the parking lot that caught my attention. A new discount store has just opened, and they sell nothing over $9.99. They had Christmas trees! I was worried about affording a tree, let alone presents. A tree at that price is something I can afford! It is absolutely beautiful. It is about eight feet tall, and is full and pretty. I had them put it on top of my car, and I tied it on myself.
When I got home, I told my daughter to look outside. She started dancing because she was so excited. We don't have anything to put under the tree, but at least we will have a beautiful tree for Christmas!
