It wasn'tthat long ago that the controversy surrounding The DaVinci Code was swirling through the media. As a novel and afilm the story centers on a seemingly unsolvable puzzle, designed to conceal a secretworth dying for. It reminded us of our fascination with puzzles, a secretperhaps, of our success as thinking animals.
So great isthis fascination that it has fueled an unending series of puzzle-orientedstories, from the swashbuckling adventures of Indiana Jones, to the brilliantdeductions of Nancy Drew. On the other hand, puzzles and codes turn up in othertypes of stories, too.
For example, many comedies have gags that return again and again in the story line, forminga kind of pattern all their own. In the best comedies, that pattern is upsetwhen, despite our expectations, the comedians add a hilarious, unexpectedtwist, often at the turning point of the story line.
Share yourfavorite puzzle-rich movie plot and why you found it so intriguing. And let usall know if you see any parallels in your child's "story line". Have younoticed any major patterns or themes emerging from Mary Jean's Adventures atCamp? Have you cracked the code behind Billy's mysterious smile? And speakingof classic movie themes, where has the household man of mystery hidden the DVDremote? Share your stories and we'll randomly select 50 responders to receive a Code Orange mouse pad.

It is so intriguing because they make it seem like it could actually be true!
I loved it becuase no matter how hard you tried to crack the secret of why and who, it kept you in suspense clear to the very end....which is not easily accomplished by many films, but this one did and impressed me.
Especially because of the lengths this company would go for it's clients that it left me totally awestruck. TOO COOL!
I also found The Sixth Sence interesting...there are clues all over the movie indicating the Bruce Willis's character was dead... I ruined the movie for everyone around me, 'cause I figured it out within 15 or 20 minutes...oops. Clues like...he didn't throw a shadow, he couldn't open a door, no one else besides the boy talks to him.
