I have been saving for college since he was 1 year old. money he gets for birthdays & holidays usually goes to the "fund".
He is now in 8th grade and even though I have faithfully 2x a month put at least $15 in his fund, and the extras. I am not even close to having enough, Maybe enough to buy a book or two.
I think about his college funds needed often. I have even joined another online membership that will add percentage to his fund.
When I start getting too upset about the cost, I usually try to concentrate on a good book, and when it is warm I will be outside duing laps in the pool.
I have taken as much overtime at work as I can, but I do NOT want to miss the time with him.
It has been hard, but I know I will continue to do my best. The college scholarship would be a blessing.
and I have even found out that "lamase breathing" helps when you are really stressed.
