So what happens when a high fever pops up out of nowhere and threatens to spoil your child's happy times? What if your daughter is all ready for her birthday party - complete with balloons, games, cake, ice cream - and then suddenly you notice she's feeling kind of hot. You know, fever kind of hot? That's a situation we like to call "Code Orange."
What's "Code Orange?" It's that slightly scary moment when our kids develop a high fever. A Code Orange moment can happen any time, but doesn't it always seem to kick off just when you have something planned for your child or your family? That's the time to take a deep breath, call your doctor and reach for Children's Motrin.
Over the next few months, we're providing a special conversation space where parents can share their insights. We hope you'll join us as we trade tips on cracking the "kid code", support each other in our search for better ways to communicate with our children and celebrate the journey from "baby talk" to that "back talk" and beyond!
