Post or Pictures?

Which do you look at first when you visit someone new's page? I always check their posts first and then check out their photos if I have time, I'm terribly forgetful about ratings, although I've been getting better about it. So which do you look at first?

I have a hard time to remember rating people's stuff .. Sometimes Gather will say come back later to rate...
Then I forget most of the time..
I do both.... then I check out their profile

I love to look at photos, so I go there first. I try to remember to rate them.

Profile - Post - Pictures. If I'm not on the same wavelength I don't connect. If they have not posted yet - I wait to accept their friend invite until I see what they post and if they are active in the community and of course whether they stop by to look at my posts and pics.
If they send out a friend request without even a comment, I decline. I can't be bothered, just like they can't be bothered I don't want a ton of connections I want people to interact with.

I'm connected to a lot of photographers so I always make sure I look at all their pictures and rate them most of the time.

It depends on the reason I'm there-if they made a political comment I like -I look at their affiliations. If they are talking about flowers-I might look at their pictures. If they are talking about how skinny they are, etc. and I bothered to look I might look at pictures in a case like that too.

I am pretty bad at not rating. I forget!
I usually go through my friend area first, there I check out most of the posts and pics. I mix things up a bit.

I will read their posts first, then photos. I do my very best to remember to RATE their posts too. I mean, I like my posts to be rated, so I have to remember to rate my fellow Gatherer's too.

I Like to Check their profile 1st to see if I can & Will Connect w/ them, then Posts, then Video's,( I love watching Video's ) I Will Rate Every Time & I Always give a 10,( hey, I'm there to visit you,might as well give you a 10 )

Profile first...most of the time. I will always read the profile before I comment.
Posts.... I will read for mindset..comment deeply after a progression of interests.
Rarely pictures....Based upon the depth of the interactions.

Actually, if I encounter someone who is moderate to extreme in surreal art, they are the cool ones to me. I also like a person who helps others and has a sense of humor, not a trouble maker and a hate monger.

I generally look at their posts. If I find that they are into visual arts, I will set my notices to get their photos too, like with sidewinder. My only problem is finding time to view them all.

I am never disappointed! Everyone has there own eye for seeing what they are photographing ... this always gives me a different perspective! I think you do quite well!
