A Tornado Watch? Crazy, to think that they get tornado watches and warnings all the way up here in Michigan!

You're getting what we had last night. We lost power for about 7 hours.
Oh you mean along the Ohio border
They always get them, especially Monroe and Flat Rock
I live in a weather valley between Ann Arbor and Dundee...somehow the really bad stuff seems to go just north of us or just south of us...thank you God!
Thats crazy. we had one a few nights ago but we live in viginia near the beach
It's always been that way. When I lived in Jackson, Michigan, a town about 5-10 miles away was "tornado alley". They were forever hitting there.
Back in the 50's they had a terrible tornado hit Flint. It did a lot of damage and killed a few people.
yeah i know it seems crazy in fact the other day we had a warning i wv ,crazy on that to!
we live in a place that Tornado's just love to hit, at least once a year. But were not in Michigan, were in Illinois.
Oh yea we get them every summer here in Michigan. 2 years ago my sister's house was hit. I just talked to her and she was like "No tornados please!!! They JUST got everything repaired from the last one" She lives in Fenton
Stay safe...
Uh Well Ya Dan, we are on a direct line in the end of Tornado Alley! Aren't you happy you moved here now! LOL.... I use to have tornado nightmares when I was a girl. We get some dozies every year....
Stay safe I am in the same boat right now.
Tornado Watches and Warnings are just a normal part of the year around here. I don't worry about it unless one is directed at me haha.
global warrning LOL
oh no-my family lives in michigan- better check on them-
We get lots of tornadoes in Michigan. We're near Flint and our power went off briefly about a half hour ago.
It doesnt seem bad, we got a bit of rain but other than that...
We had one last week, had a F1 touch down about 40 miles away
I lived in the Detroit suburbs in the early 80's and we got tornado warnings a lot this time of year....
You know I live in Oklahome, so it's pretty common here.
