Baby It's Cold Outside.

After just over 11 hours at the hospital, I walked out the door to be blasted by a breeze of cold air. Upon driving home, I learned that it was 26 degrees (feels like 16) according to weather.com. Ouch, Baby it's cold outside.

Sounds like a song...Baby, It's Cold Out There...It is cold here for us in Florida but I am loving it and oud love to be somewhere where there is snow...yes the same ole song. I am so jealous of all of you getting snow. I just have to move by this time next year.

I am getting ready to build a fire in the fireplace....ahaahaahhhhhhhhhhhhh

Today's high was 40 and the low was in the 20s.

The big news story of the day here was -- this morning a transformer caught fire in St. Louis County and 53,000 people were waking up to a temperature of 27. After several hours, the power was restored.

it's been pretty cold here.. but not unbearable.. i'm used to really cold weather.. i think today it was late 30s.. once it gets a lot closer to winter.. then it's unbearable ! haha

It was really windy (about 30 miles an hour) and cold (45 degrees) and wet yesterday but today was sunshine and warmer weather at about 68 - 75 degrees. Can't even light my fireplace up tonight. Still chilly but nothing near as cold as where you're at in Michigan Dan. Bundle up!

Same, of course. I was outside for as short a time as possible when I was walking between my car and work in Troy, Michigan. Thank goodness I never had to get out of my car until I was in the garage at home.

I bet the cold really woke you up after all those hours at work. Here in Brooklyn it was about 50 degrees but it's supposed to be turning colder soon. I really can't wait for the real cold weather. I love it when it's very cold.

It was 45 today, which isn't too bad. They are saying isn't going to get real cold over the next couple of days. What fun!

the high is supposed to be 38 but the wind is so bad out there you feel like you are frozen as soon as you walk out the door...and I don't like it!
