I go through my friends list about 6 months or so. I disconnect from anyone who hasn't posted in at least 4 months or so. I am finding many friends who haven't posted since last year. It does make me wonder what happen to those members. I am also weeding out the people that are my friends list that Gather has gotten rid of. It is very time consuming to go through and do all this.
I was wondering how often do you go through your friends list? What are some reasons you would disconnect with someone?

Thanks
You can tell by looking at your friends list & you can see when their last sign in date was.
I was surfing groups a while ago and found two groups with the same name, same date they were created and with only one member, the founder. They had had no activity at all. I wonder why Gather doesn't do something about those kinds of things. It is sure to be clogging things to have inactive groups or people.
I am the stand in person while Amy is on vacation.
I am still the stand in person while Amy is on vacation.
I dont disconnect because you never know when they might pop in gather someday.
I do not go through and delete people who do not respond or comment on my stuff. I do not delete those who give me generic comments...I get lots of those. But I look at it as a comment is a comment.
I don't expect a comment when I give a comment. I do expect friends to comment on something that they would like to voice their opinion or say or at least stop by and say hello once in a while. But frankly I do not keep track of who comments and who doesn't. A real friend wouldn't do that in my opinion.
I just delete in active people from my friends list. I really don't think seeing people in active from 7 months and deleting them as a problem. When they do come back and get active again....If i enjoyed their stuff......I am sure I will find them again.
But with almost 600 people on my friends..I would like to keep track of my friends alot better. I would like to get to know them better and make some good friends.
