Melissa's birthday



Hello my friends. I would like to tell you all about a birthday that is very special. My daughter is turning 21 on January 3rd. She has always been a strength and spitfire. Even though she is considered "legal" now, she has been a responsible and intelligent young lady all of her life. Even though she is my youngest, she has always been bad about being the other mommy to her brother. (much to his frustration sometimes) Even when he was in kindergarten, she was trying to do his homework for him. Now that I am unable to do many of the things I should be able to do at 41, my daughter has stepped up to help out and fill the blanks. She has helped us get organized, and keep to some semblance of a budget since my income stopped. She has her faults, but she has truly been a blessing to me. I want her to get the points for her birthday too, so I am writing an article under her name about her birthday, and I would appreciate it if you would all add some birthday wishes to it too! Thank you all!

Being 21 makes you a full fledged adult. However remember all those wonderful things your mom has taught you. I remember my 21st birthday it can be so much fun. But be careful and if you want to celebrate with alcohol be safe. Be smart! I wish you a wonderful 21st birthday. I see why your mother is so proud of you!
