You can set what emails you receive from your people and groups? Gather will let you know if someone has published a new article, image, or video! LOL! I'm so slow at getting to know my way around Gather! Just found all this under My Gather, email prefs! Just so cool! My inbox is going to be full! They need abetter way to do this though, Like when you join a group you should be able to say what email preferences you want! Or when you add people, I would find it easier to set my preferences then I think! So what does everybody here think? LOL! Hope everyone is staying warm!

I have my settings for anyone that comments on my stuff. I then comment on theirs!

The only email notifications I get are if someone posts to one of my owned groups. Other than that, I'll find the stuff when I get on here... I get way too many emails as it is.

hi and thx for the connection request... i wish Gather techs would include the feature that alerts person who left com on your page that you have left them a reply there,too...having to go back to check is highly annoying to say the least....other sites have had that feature for 7 yrs. or more!......

glitches prevent receiving any notices of comments/group postings which i have been dealing with since the last 3 upgrades....only recently have i been receiving a trickling of comment notices a few days each week....

there is much to explore here as you are finding out.....thanks for stopping by my latest content!

I think I justhave it set up when someone comments on my content- that way I can reciprocate the favor. Anyway- Gather is pretty cool. I'm addicted.

I am so behind! I like to keep up on what my "friends" have posted...and check out the people who have commented on my stuff...and check out what new has been posted by anyone. BUT, after a week away, I am so behind. Click and comment, Click and comment, Click and comment, Click and comment, Click and comment!

It is taking me a while to figure out how to get around in Gather too! I have been having a real frustrating time this past month! All of the sudden I cannot upload an image! I haven't done anything different, the pics are the same size as always, just can't figure out what has happened?

i look at my home page for stuff that catches my attention from my connections then i am slowly going through all my connections one by one in the order they connected to me and attempting to comment on EVERYTHING they have posted!!! I am also attempting to comment on everyone who comments on me!!!

I have mine set to let me know when I receive a comment. This way, I make sure I take time to check out people's content when they are looking at mine.
