What Were You In High School...?

Were you the class clown, the class clown, the Valedictorian, the Salutatorian, the Homecoming Queen/King, the Geek, the class flirt, the majorette...???

I was the majorette in high school, well, A majorette, AND, I still have my baton. I can't (won't) tell you how old it is, but I'll give you a hint: it's ancient! If I can figure out how to do it, I may post my high school pic. Hey, there's a dare for you Gatherites, post a pic with your comments. Post anyway you want (single or multi-post)-I'm sure many of you can boast many of these "honors"...

I didn't fit into any special category. I got good grades, was athletic, partied and pretty much was friends with people from all walks of life.

I was voted class flirt, clown, instigator, rowdiest and best bod, if I remember correctly.

Way to go, Lindy! I went to 3 different high schools, so it was difficult to "fit in." I was active-worked on the Yearbook, joined alot of clubs, like the Future Nurses Club. My Nursing Career didn't come to fruition, tho-I almost blew up my Chem lab in college!

Lisa, I wasn't voted, but I was QUIET & wicked shy. Luckily (for some, anyway) I grew out of it.

I was some what shy, but yet I had a lot of friends from different groups...all in all I was probably a nobody LOL ;o). I was more of a shadow of my best friend in high school so if that tells you anything. ;o). I was also a choir geek ;o)

Mari, I went to a small high school in deep in South Texas. The School consisted of students from not two but four adjacent towns. The school district was named after the 2 largest of the four, Edcouch-Elsa High School. The band geeks, consisted of the top 10 percent of the school, it included jocks, prom queens, cowboys, rockers, you name it.

I was the Jr. ROTC girl who also helped work in the offices in exchange for my study hall and for extra credit.....they called me "The Teachers Pet" but that wasn't true. LOL

I was also a part of the French Club & that was a lot of fun...I would dress up like a clown every year for Mardi Gras & I would make balloon animals for the students. That was one day of the year that I didn't mind getting out of my comfort zone & making balloon animals for all the kids (popular & what not).

I was also one of those people that had to ask all the guys to go with them to the dances. At least I had dates. I only had 2 people shoot me down, but whatever...I think 2 out of 10 is pretty good ;o). I HATED having to ask the guys :*o( No boyfriends in high school either...but probably for the best...guys in high school can be trouble ;o)

Anytime, Birdee! Sounds like you have fond memories of H.S. I know many people don't-it was hard for me, especially the last one because it was so cliquey. But after so many years pass, and especially after my last class reunion, I was pleased that I aged better than some of my classmates, especially the really popular kids that would never talk to you. There is divine justice after all...!

I was a Jesus Freak who hung out at a christian coffeehouse downtown who wasn't in the in crowd but found a place and friends.

I was the guy that figured out that 70% of our grade was from the tests so I skipped many classes and made sure I was there for the test. It caught on and about ten of us got busted for skipping class but the penalty was more time off school. How cool is that!

In the time we skipped class we worked on making things like a Hydrogen powered go-cart and I built a computer with vacuum tubes. I was the computer geek before the PC was even possible. We often took time to go swimming at the pond, chase girls and all the things a normal kid likes to do. It was great!

wel im still in highschool, but im probably known as shy and quiet but friendly. i have alot of different friends. "punk-kids" "stoners" "preps" "jocks" "populars" "nerds" "art freaks" "drama freaks" "good kids" i fall into seven of these catogories at sometime. ive odly had quiet a few people ask me if im bi-sexual????
