Well, I don't see the article, but maybe I didn't go back far enough in the stacks. What's the most important news out of Iraq these days? The Surge, said to be doing well by a couple of surge supporters posing as critics this week in the NYT isn't it. I wonder how much they paid those two to go through that farcical theater. To get a stable Iraq, the streets is not where our focus should be right now, this is. Bush can pour as many American and Iraqi lives as he wants down those oil wells, but until a viable government rules, and is viable enough to exist without us making it exist, nothing he does will matter.
