Hey, you guys like Drake and Josh? Maybe you're a bit older, and you liked Kenan and Kel? Well, while both of those shows are great, haven't you ever wondered what it would be like if the cool guy, and the downright nerdy best friend characters were put into an adulterated setting, with adult themed episodes, revolving around adult issues, such as sex, booze, and parties? Jake and Amir is your answer...

Started by the hilarious people at collegehumor.com, Jake and Amir revolves around two guys, working in an office environment all day long. Jake seems to be the cool and respected guy at the workplace, while Amir is....

Well...socially awkward to say the least. Jake seems to be annoyed by Amir all the time, especially how he keeps asking Jake to have dinner with him, and do other BFF related things, though Jake constantly ends up realizing that he couldn't be the guy he is without Amir, mainly due to the fact that the two of them are polar opposites. It's almost like a bromance, if Kirk never really wanted Spock. Sorry, but I had to throw a Star Trek reference in there somewhere. I mean, they even look alike.

Forget Zachary Quinto and Christopher Pine, these guys should have played Kirk and Spock in the reboot! They even have character arcs on the show, that span over a few episodes (each episode being about five minutes at it's longest point), such as one where Jake moves to California, and realizes that he misses Amir just as much as Amir misses him....while Jake is trying to get laid. How do you think that one turned out?

All and all, this is a great little web series, and it is the cause of some of College Humor's funniest videos. So, without further a due, I give you...Jake and Amir.

sounds like something the kids would like, but that I wouldn't want them to watch
Lol, understood.
My oldest boys love them. Thanks for sharing.
I was thinking the same thing as Marsha!
I could see my hubby watching that. As lame as that might sound, he likes weird stuff. lol
ookkkk then LOL
I've never heard of them before, but I enjoyed that episode. I'll have to look into more of their stuff
It isn't something I think I would like, then again I really don't watch much TV
they would annoy the beejeezus outta me!!
Actually I have to agree with you, the star trek connection was amazingly spot on, there looks, i don't know much about their relationship
Also I tend to enjoy the web show, me and my friends in college will watch it whenever we are bored...i didn't know it was something adults would get into, but by the comments it doesn't seem to many would
glad you like it
