Speechless - Silencing Christians is Back on Tonight (November 1)
by Marilyn Mackenzie
I received an email from American Family Association reminding me that "Speechless...Silencing the Christians" will be starting back up tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern time on INSP network. If you don't get INSP (it's now available on cable, DrectTV and Dish Network), you can watch it on the internet at www.afa.net. Look for the Speechless banner on that page.
According to the email I received, the show tonight is titled, "Christians Need Not Apply - Part I."
Here's what the email said about this show:
All across the country, Christians are being hounded out of jobs, simply because of their beliefs. On this episode of "Speechless . . . Silencing the Christians," you'll learn why two women were fired from the University of Texas at Arlington for praying for a co-worker after hours. How a counselor lost her job for sticking to her religious convictions, and why a receptionist at a family services agency was harassed for her Christian faith.
What does this intensifying battle mean for you, and your freedoms? Find out tonight!
If you get the chance to watch, I hope you'll check back here and comment about the show.

Perhaps it is due to this chattering-class that people have gotten fed up with those self-professed Christians who foist their views upon all of society ?
Perhaps it is also related to Election Issues ~ Sat Nov 01 2008 ~ Palin's not so distant past and her support for the formation of church-based "armed militias", or her endorsing of the "justifiable homicide" of any doctors who performed abortions, or their associates ?
Maybe America just isn't ready for Christians to "take up the sword" and to "overthrow the tyrannical regime that oppresses them" so that they can install a theocratic regime based on "Biblical law" ?

I've personally never had trouble out of my employers (some were small businesses owned by Christians, and a couple were large corporations you can't really label either way) because I always did such a good job that they'd have to hire 3 new people to replace me. I've found the most effective thing to do in the long-run however is to be self-employed--you can do a lot more and have a lot more freedom that way, and usually the person you wake up to in the mirror isn't going to have a problem with your belief in God.
As far as laws, Christians need to be informed voters--our President chooses the Supreme Court nominees, whose decisions impact nearly every aspect of everyday culture without many people even realizing it. From the local to national level, the responsible thing to do is have a clue on what's going on.
Wake up. I Tell you the Truth...If you cannot get this BASIC Life Issue Correct, you are being misled by the "Church"...and you walk, foolishly, to your own destruction...
Sorry, not buying it.
It makes no sense when the majority group cries about being discriminated against.
