Do You Pray for Him?

Just a quick question.  So many people are ready, willing and able to make fun of our President.  They love making jokes about him.

But my question today is...do you pray for our President?  I hope that you do. 

And I wonder...if each one who believes in the power of prayer - all over the country - had put our President on his/her prayer list each and every day, might it have made a difference?

We could all start now...

I am praying that the president who is elected is someone who will lead our country well. Even if its not the candiate I want, I pray God will allow the right one to be elected and that our country gets better.

I do pray that they have wisdom in the decisions that they make and for the Lord to guide their steps.

I am not a religious person. But when he makes right decisions I benefit and when he makes wrong decisions I suffer along with everyone else. Therefore I hope very strongly that he makes only right decisions the rest of his term of office.

I do pray for him, and the leaders of many nations every day. To be wise, to follow God, and to stop the abuses in this world and not add to them.

To be honest..I have been praying for a president who can clean up our debt and take care of the American people. I have never prayed for Bush..but I never thought to either. i will make a point to do so today.

Lisa, I already do pray for Obama. And while I hope he doesn't become President, if he does, of course I will pray for him.

Yes I do, and I pray that whoever gets elected that God will lead them in the direction that this country needs to go.

I pray for the country and it's leaders...in Bush's case and in the case of most of our' representatives on Capitol Hill...it hasn't helped.

I pray for our leaders and our country. I also pray for the candidates, all of them, and the Senate and Congress. It may appear that it is no help, but our time is not God's time.
