Larry, post surgery...

The surgery went very well. Dad went in for his surgery at 7:30 and the doctor came out to us about 8:50. There was a piece of bone that was pressed very hard against the nerve. He removed that and cleaned up any bone pieces.
He had to lay flat on his back for 8 hours post surgery. After that they 'log rolled' him onto his side for a while.
He had a chill for a while which caused him to shake considerably. He had some discomfort that they gave him some pain killers for too.
He will likely have to spend a second night at the hospital. Hopefully tomorrow he will be able to eat solid food.
All in all, he's doing very well! PRAISE GOD!
