My father will be going in for back surgery on the 16th of this month. I will be going up there the Saturday before, and staying through the following Saturday. My grandmother told me that he is still in a LOT of pain.

Michael - Your father will continue in my prayers. I will light a candle for him continuosly until I hear he is better after his surgery. I will also send positive energy in the hopes that he feels it and gains strength through it.
You Dad's back surgery is a very intense and difficult one. Don't they have to go in through the chest and break a rib in order to get to the back where they need to go? Or are they going straight through the back which is even more dangerous? In any event neither is pleasant and will continue with my prayers.
I will keep your Larry in my prayers Michael, and I hope this surgery will be successful and he will have a quick and full recovery from the suffering he has been having, back pain is debilitating and makes everything else hurt, Prayers for your strength also as you and your family see him through this.
