What are some of your hobbies?

I love Gather, reading (when I'm in the mood), my plants, collecting porcelins of different things...Castles, cabins, cats, angels, bears, etc. I also collect miniature stuffed teddy bears. I love yard/garage sales in the summer. I also love getting freebies in the mail from online! I love getting cash from websites for reading articles and surveys, etc, etc. That's a good question!

jacqueline, i share with you the love of reading, the net surfing, and cross stitch was something i loved, my big acheivement was a small piece i made for my first born baby girl afterwards i was not as motivated and have since not completed a project but i am always impressed with embroidery and find it extremly soothing for the nerves.
m y other hobbies are caring for the animals in our household, i used to play piano, nothing too complex, walking in nature, sketching, writing poetry, pen paling, but have since quit most and surfing the net takes the place of letter writing unfortunately because there is nothing as exciting as receiving a friendly letter, i do miss the days when people would correspond with feathers dipped in ink and receiving a letter and writing one were quite an event, these days everything seems so instant and somehow it takes away from the thrill of taking your time to do something. would love to quilt as well, i think this is best acheived in a women's circle , unfortunately caretaking for kids and pets is at the moment too time consuming..oh , i nearly forgot i love watching good DVD's late at night, like Betty Davis films or whatever thought provoking film there is and then write a review for gather..

I love to draw, both freehand, and computer graphics. I have done some quilting and crochet as well. I love studying space, science and religion. And oh yes, reading and writing are very near the top of the list.

I write of course, I make jewelry, oil paint, wood carve, stained glass, mosaics, I make wind chimes actually the list goes on. LOL

Cooking and gardening. Also, surfing the net and gather.

I make beaded jewelry, do cross stitch, needle point and crewel stitchery. I like to try all different types of crafts. I enjoy reading when I get the chance, and of course the computer.

knitting, scrapbooking, genealogy, reading, tv and movies, spending time with my family, spending way too much time online.

The last project I actually finished was about 5 years ago when I made my brother a 5x7 picture of big cats. It took me ayear to finish it.

LOL, I like spending a lot of time online as well. I work overnights so the boss allows us to be online quite a bit to stay awake.

Always thought about scrapbooking as a hobby I would like to try but still have not gotten around to it.

I agree I really enjoy crocheting. I wish I had more time to do it but with school, work, and family right now my time is really limited.
