1 week ago today, my husband and I went to a concert here in Tulsa, OK. It was a concert that started the celebration of 30 years of being on the air for one of our local Christian music stations, KXOJ 100.9 FM. Here's there web address http://www.kxoj.com
This concert was great and it looked like the Maybee Center was just about packed. I would guess that 95% of the tickets that were available were sold!
Aaron Schust was the first to come on the stage and it was pretty good. He wasn't on long (compared to the next 2) but it was a very nice start. I just love Aaron Schust! He has a lot of songs that I really like.
Next was Audio Adrenaline! Now what a crazy band that is! It was great to see how they really wanted to keep it real. It is a shame that they are ending their time as a band this year with a one last tour across the country. If any of you like Audio A- you better go check out their website to find out about any concerts coming up in your area! Remember, this will be the last year to see them in concert. They will be continuing with a ministry, but not with music. They have their "Hands and Feet" project that they are going to be immersed in. I am sure you would know their song that was inspired by the project.
And now lastly but most profound, was Mercy Me. I have seen them in concert before and I have always loved every minute of it. Bart, the lead singer, is so humble and he makes sure that every concert is about God. That God is first and foremost and present during every concert! You can feel the annointing of God in that place when you are there at a Mercy Me concert.
And a great thing to know is that Mercy Me is accompanying Audio Adrenaline on tour this year!
You don't want to miss it!!!!!
