I think it's interesting how much faith it takes to believe in evolution. Consider with me for a minute. There is absolutely no fossil evidence between species to prove Darwin's theory. Not even at the molecular level do they find any evidence for evolution. Scientists who believe in this theory will themselves tell you that there is no evidence to support evolution, and yet they continue to believe in it. What great faith that takes! Francis Crick who helped discover DNA even believes that an alien race came to the earth and planted the first molecule (or something to that effect.) I mean, isn't it amazing how far people will go to avoid even thinking about the possibility that there is an intelligent being that created the universe?
Even if I wasn't a Christian, I am positive that I would believe in intelligent design. Here's why. Look around you! Take a good look at the many organisms out there and what their jobs are as far as the environment. Look at the human body. It's so complex. To think that we can heal ourselves in some aspects, it's amazing! Plus, take the concept of "irreducible complexity." (To read more about this try this wikipedia article here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irreducible_complexity) Basically it says that there are parts of organisms that work together. They couldn't have evolved that way because if an organism is born in one generation with only one of the parts that all work together by Darwin's own theory that part would not last the next generation of mutations because that part has no purpose without the other parts.
Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. I truly believe that verse. If you just look around at nature and more and more as science develops look at what we discover. DNA and the human genome. You can see God's glory and majesty. You can see HIS mark on HIS creation!!

Simon, my grandma used to say, "you can't appreciate the sun if you've never walked in the rain." I realize thats kinda simplistic, but its absolutly true. Yes the Creator created duality; free will cannot exist without it.

i love that you included that link to irreducible complexity.it describes how the idea has been discredited.
To wit: "There is absolutely no fossil evidence between species to prove Darwin's theory." In actual fact there is plenty of fossil evidence between species that supports Darwin's theory. There are many millions of fossils which have been recovered from the Earth and which provide physical evidence of the existence of hundreds of thousands of species. Amongst the species that we have fossil evidence of, and that show a clear link between species, are many pre-human ancestors evolving towards modern humans, showing a clear traisl from Ardipithecus to Australopithecus to Kenyanthropus to Paranthropus to Homo habilis to Homo rudolfensis to Homo ergaster to Homo georgicus erectus to Homo antecessor to Homo cepranensis to Homo erectus to Homo heidelbergensis to Homo rhodesiensis to Homo sapiens neanderthalensis to Homo sapiens idaltu to Archaic Homo sapiens to Homo floresiensis to Homo sapiens.
Another example of erroneous repitition: "Plus, take the concept of "irreducible complexity." Basically it says that there are parts of organisms that work together. They couldn't have evolved that way because if an organism is born in one generation with only one of the parts that all work together by Darwin's own theory that part would not last the next generation of mutations because that part has no purpose without the other parts. " Except that "irreducable complexity" has been completely discredited by demonstrating in all the given examples that the organism in question was not irreducable in its complexity, that if it sometimes appeared to be it could still be a result of evolution not only adding new features but also taking some away that were no longer of use. Basically the argument of irreducable complexity is an argument from ignorance based on a "full-blown intellectual surrender strategy".
Perhaps even more amazing, amusing and alarming is the assumption that evolution in any way denies the possibility of God, of His role in the creation of the universe and all life within it including humankind. It does not. The theory of evolution and the very solid science behind it is silent on the role of God. It has nothing to say about it at all, because that is not the question it addresses. The Christian man, Charles Darwin, who originated the theory was working on figuring out the mechanism of how life came to be, not the source. Only Christians who are poorly educated in both their faith and in science are threatened by the science behind evolution, because their weak grasp of spiritual truths is easily shaken. Evidence that emerges that suggests that the childlike, literal interpretation of the Bible is not word-for-word truth scares them, because their imagination is too feeble to entertain both the reality of a God and of evolution. To them it is one or the other.
In reality it could be both and it could be neither and it could any combination of aspects we currently attribute to each. But we know enough science to know that the allegorical tales of Genesis are not an accurate description of the origin of life, just a story to convey the importance of God in creation.
What is not at all amusing, but still amazing and alarming, is how poorly the American education system is performing if people confuse spirituality with science and are unable to logically defend their position on either.
Sorry to be so critical in tone, I respect your right to believe as you will, but also encourage you to educate yourself before speaking out, rather than uncritically quoting unfounded statements that support your beliefs as though they were factual.
