I am a big fan of snacking. Not always the healthiest snacks. I realized something today. We don't just buy the usual stuff - like Pepperidge Farm and Keebler and name brands. Sometimes I buy interesting foreign brands. Our favorite in this house is Pocky - a chocolate coated biscuit stick from Japan. I buy them at Wegman's - in a 2.82 oz box. They come in other flavors too - but we have never tried the other flavors.
when on vacation, we also buy local regional snacks. When we were in Nova Scotia, we had Kit Kat bars in other flavors that you can't find in the U.S. - Strawberry Flavor, Banana Flavor. We found ketchup flavored chips, chicken flavored potato chips. I bring home what I can so I can enjoy them slower.
On our last vacation, I bought Al Capp's Cheddar Bacon Fries. A baked potato product. They are so good.
Do you have regional snacks that you can't find in other areas of the country when you go on your vacations? We do. Grandma Utz's potato chips for one.
