Matt and I traveled to our friends Mike and Kelly's home for one last outdoor barbecue and get together before Fall sets in.
I marinated some boneless skinless chicken breast in yogurt, fresh lemon juice, fresh garlic, oregano and salt and pepper for 8 hours. This was my "Greek Chicken".
We had burgers, taco salad, corn on the cob, pasta salad and various snacks. Watermelon chunks were served for dessert.

All in all it was a fun evening. We sat around a fire, drank Mojitos and Pacifico, and had a wonderful time.
Good food and good friends. Good times.

Oh no, Rob. What are you going to do? Get an indoor grill? That's better than nothing.
Thanks, Nana.
Vicky, we will still grill here, but I assume there won't be anymore outdoor parties. The leaves are starting to fall already.
Thanks, Lynn :)
And the good times, what a recipe for life.
LOL, Katie!!!
Thanks, Mel. You're right about that.
I hope so, Lar.
Denise, I think there was some taco salad left and that was about it!
I am getting hungry....lol

Thank you, Sue.
Even my friends' kid loved it, and he's a picky chicken kid!
I am really disappointed that you did not invite me! Boo Hoo . . . . It all looks so good. I hate to see fall arrive. It has already arrived here. The yard is full of leaves again and it has been raked a couple times already. Fall means that winter is really close and I HATE WINTER
I have never marinated meats with yogurt. Do you use it the way it is or thin it some with olive oil???
Connie, if I use low fat yogurt I use a bit of olive oil. If regular, no need to.
We grill outside year round. We have a roof over our patio. It gets cold here but only really bad at the last of December through the beginning of March. Have you ever thought about an enclosed porch?
Smoked chops... oh yeah!
