This article - short, sweet, to the point - is about a self-healing method called EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique. I googled up the site during some downtime when I was working in the library yesterday, and was blown away (very gently) by the power of the healing energy emanating from the site itself. I highly recommend exploring the stories of healings. It's Love & Light, you know, and those things are contagious.
Think about that for just a moment. Healing is contagious.
Gatherites Gerry Wass and Sandy F. have written a few articles about their experiences with EFT, very much worth reading. Sandy's group ( EFT WORKS ) deserves to have MANY more members. After reading about EFT more than a year ago, I finally felt the pull to visit the site and download the manual and begin learning the basics. Because the energy is so amazing, I'm going to start an EFT group in the village where I live, for learners to help and encourage each other. Yeeha, EFT! Yeeha, self-healing! And thanks, Gerry W. and Sandy F.

Welcome to wellness.
I've had a few experiences with Acupuncture (until I ran out of $$) that were satisfying.
Thanks for the heads-up.
The enthusiasm of newcomers to EFT is always a great refresher for those of us who have been using it for years.
Regards,
Rod
What I've really liked about the EFT manual so far is its practicality. No woo-woo, just Hey folks! Here's something that works!
Now we've got Sandy, Don, Gerry, and Rod telling us that Hey folks! It REALLY DOES WORK.
I love it.
I got tired of this pain that was going down my right arm several times a day. I started googling about R. arm pain, thinking well maybe it might be heart something-or-other. I came across a connection between R. arm pain and R. ear hearing loss (which is still going on for me) and the SMALL INTESTINE MERIDIAN.......So I looked up that meridian in Donna Eden's book ENERGY MEDICINE (I highly recommend Donna's work)......And I began running energy to that meridian. That was showing some effect, of course -
But I kept tracking through google because I could feel there was something more, a message in the pain and also probably a gift - THE GIFT COMES WRAPPED IN PAIN, you know......
And then I remembered Gerry's articles on EFT last year and thought hmmmmm......
And when I got into the main EFT website there was this amazing flow of a very practical hands-on energy pouring from many hearts. It felt like angels hard at work. It intrigued me so much - I could feel that here is a practical, down-to-earth actual healing technique......I hope many gatherers tune in to Sandy's group and the EFT site and get down to work on their bodies, situations, and lives. Yes!
Once you get going with the tapping etc., it doesn't take long before the sequences are memorized.
The simple use of unconditional love ["even though such-and-such is still somewhat painful, I love and accept myself completely"] is gently powerful and perfectly right.
Of course I want to jump in and do surrogate tapping for various national and international situations, but I think the wiser course would be to make certain I can do it well for myself, and also practice with those of my circle who want to learn it - and then start tapping as we are guided to.
What I'm finding as well is that I need time to integrate the shifts, just as in any other healing modality. If I push too hard, too fast, then I may come up against some soul resistance.
I was working at getting the stiffness and soreness out of my R. elbow this morning before work, and found so much stuff in there. I don't need to know every detail - and I know from what I'm reading that it's not considered necessary to have access to all that information. Yet it's good to know that the inappropriate expression of anger at my ex which I blocked, and which then contributed to the stiffness in my R. elbow, is now being heard. Heard, and that means loved, and it's really unconditional love itself that does the healing.
