Bloomberg reprorts that " The U.S. government’s $1 billion “cash for clunkers” program to spur new car sales is “suspended” after running through the money six days after it began, Senator Debbie Stabenow said."
It would seem to me that this was not well planned, and people like my son were planning on buying a new vehicle, but now what? If this is the way the administration handles their help mainstreet, what is to become of heatlh care when it runs out of money. They government is planning to go to the tax option.
Now, I'll have to pay for people with clunkers to buy new cars? This was not the plan. Don't the American people see that Mr. Obama is playing Santa Claus and we all know he's a fictional elf. God help us!

www.teapartypatriots.com. This is the way we can stop it, at election time in 2010. Tea Party groups are for the most part, non-partisan, we believe we need to get back to our founding principles which is smaller government for one. Check it out. Join us and become a patriot, we need more to get the message through to Washington and the politicians.
You have to admit that compared with other pork, (wrapped with the label "stimulus" that takes months and years to get to the end point, this was a miracle of government efficiency in spending; the only real stimulus money we've seen in a long while.

I think that they were not expecting
It was worse than we thought
Closing Gitmo is more complicated than we thought
But let's pay some Weigurs 800 million to live on a tropical island
The economy was worse than we thought
I could have calibrated my words better
Another one didn't pay their taxes
Bernanke doesn't know where 500 billion went...
The president meant to say ...
I think what Joe meant to say ...
I think I'll implement a National Healthcare program, what could go wrong?
Or will the government decide to renogotiate their reimbursement amount for some reason . . . like what happened with the EPA numbers? One day the number was posted as 18 (mpg?) the next day it was 19. Probably eliminated a bunch of people overnight who already had applied to been accepted.
I was pretty surprised to see though that many enviors did not like the plan. After doing the math they saw it all was an energy deficit, not any sort of plus.
