The Weekly Poll

For my fan base (laughs heartily) I apologize but my Daily Poll is now going to be reduced to a weekly poll.  The reason for this is my lack of experience, which basically makes me shooting in the dark to figure out how to get people to respond and be interested in my Poll posts.

As an example of the lack of response that I have received I made three survey Polls which had total respondents of 10 between the three.  I decided to try something different and set up my next poll as a comment/response poll.  This also garnered only 4 comments/responses.

I'm quickly losing hope that I really will become a pollster.  Maybe I just don't have the scintillating writing skills to attract people's attention.  Perhaps I try to stay neutral so as to avoid people getting all vitriolic also.  At this point I don't know what the reason is so I'm trying an experiment and we shall see if it works.

The Poll question for today is:

What do you think would get you, and others, to actually respond to my poll questions?

Please respond with your comments to give me some insights in to the process of getting some results on my polls.  I appreciate your help as I'm really growing to like Gather quite a lot and am hopeful to make it a part of my daily life in a much greater way, unfortunately I can't do this unless I can figure out how to get people interested enough to make it worth my time.
