Did the vet check him for worms? Does he seem to be in pain?

we had a dog that couldn't stand up one day so my son took him to the vet they said it was flesa doing it so he got a shot then a week or so it happened again we took him to a different vet turned out he had a tumor it wasn't fleas at all so maybe the vet doesn't know what he is talking about

I'm not sure, but he may have a twisted or obstructed bowel. You really do need to take him to a Vet as soon as possible.

I concur that you should take him to another vet, there might be something seriously wrong with him, and cancer is a very real possibility.

Not sure... but one of my dogs is like that too! He's just fat! And I only feed him once a day. He's never very hungry! :(

is he going to the bathroom? #1 & #2? any worms in the bowel?
Does he get his shots yearly?

I am wondering if it is worms. If it is that is not a good sign. How does he eat? Does he devour everything like he hasn't even in days when giving his daily meals? How about his stools? Check them, do they have worms, bloody. Depending on what all the symtoms are will depend on what is wrong with him. I suggest getting him to a vet as soon as you can.

you need to dump your vet ASAP and get a second opinion. there is no way this is normal indigestion. as pricilla stated, it could be an obstructed bowel. i can't tel by the picture, but larger breeds are prone to stomach turning which could be fatal. did the doctor actually preform any sort of testing to rule out worms? does your dog act like he isn't feeling well? have you noticed him vomiting lately? this may also sound disgusting, but you might want to consult his doodoo . . . sometimes you can actually see worms in the feces. there are many different parasites that dogs can contract, so even if he is negative for heartworms he could have another worm that affects the bowels. do you take him to the park often or any other facility frequented by dogs? my sister's dogs contracted a bowel worm from eating grass that another dog has used the bathroom on. either way, get a second opinion as soon as possible. could even be a tape worm.

thank you everyone first thing monday morning gonna contact another vet for my dog magic yes thats his name... For everyones answers though he isn't in any pain no worms in stools, no vomiting, he uses the bathroom ok but will keep everyone informed thanks again

Very much a second opinion is needed.

That is odd, that never happened to my dog. Did you recently try a new food? Is he going to the bathroom one and two as normally as he usually does? If he is not eating, and is not going to the bathroom normally I would be concerned. I know it is the expensive thing to do, but I would probably get a second opinion. If you just switched his food recently it could be an alergy and if that is the case I would switch him back to his old dog food and see if he improves.

It could be a condition called "bloat". You need to get him to a vet IMMEDIATELY, this condition could kill him.

Bloat can be caused by normal running and playing.
