This is a poem that I just couldn't finish. I started it a long time ago and don't remember what my original intent was. I feel it needs more though, so I am putting it out here for suggestions, comments, or what have you. Feel free to throw your opinions at me as to where you think it should go, if anywhere.
Sea coasts harbor the ghosts
Of those who have embraced death.
I walk across the beach
Watching clouds sweep the sky
And disappear.
The winds of time
Echo the breath of mourning
And somewhere beyond.
A cry of voices seek to enfold me.

I think it would be interesting to create a story of who those ghosts were - the stories they want to share with you.
who have heard the call
of sea
are buried deep within it...
Of those who have embraced death.
I walk across the beach
Watching clouds sweep the sky
And disappear.
The winds of time
Echo the breath of mourning
And somewhere beyond.
A cry of voices seek to endfold me.
"Love with us, sister,
take our tales into your soul."
A strong breath of sea air
carries me onward
into the chill of life.
"The sea coast harbors ghosts", might work better than, "Sea coasts harbor the ghosts"
I love the sea, she is my refuge, my peace
Good start!
