I am a big fan of the roller-coaster. I love them! I will stand in long lines just to ride the biggest and scariest. I have also experienced some funny moments regarding roller-coasters that I wanted to share with you. Some of these happened to me in real life. Some of the images are internet based, but I wanted you to enjoy them as much as I did.
This poor girl looks scared to death. The photo really speaks for itself.

I was riding a particular roller-coaster in the Des Moines-area park called Adventureland. The ride is called the Dragon. It is a double-loop coaster. I strapped in with a friend and we got ready to go. A couple rows ahead of us was a man with a ball cap on. I didn't think anything about it but as we got going the wind took his hat as we began the loops and blew it backwards and when we were done with the loops I looked back figuring his hat had landed on the ground below us. It had actually perched itself loosely on the head of a kid on the back of the train of cars. He grabbed it and when we got off the ride he started asking whose hat it was. The guy in front of us said it was his favorite hat and thanked the kid. I busted out laughing from the near-end of the ride until shortly after we got off and heard the exchange between the man and boy. It was classic!

This is a sign that you want to botox before riding the DRAGSTER.
Another time I was at the Iowa State Fair. A few friends and I went into the midway to ride the rides. There was a giant loop roller-coaster called The Ring of Fire. It was completely round. At first it goes forward so you go head-first over the coaster loop. Next it goes backwards a few times so your feet go first. My friends and I strapped in, excited. Then the coaster began. All of a sudden we were upside down and one of my friends behind me started cussing really loud. The ride got done and there were all these kids running behind the baracade picking things up off the ground and laughing. The carnival operator finally ran them off. I asked my friend why he was so mad...and he said he'd lost his sunglasses, all his change, a thing of tic-tacs, and his cell phone. We recovered the cell phone.

I'd say this guy is taking advantage of the ride!

Enjoy your summer! Ride all the coasters you can - but not the ones you use for your drinks!
