Who do you "hang" with?

I have heard it said that people are who they are based on a number of factors including who they associate with.  Well, if that's the case then I guess I must be a little "nutty".  Someone caught me on the boardwalk in Atlantic City with one of my cherished advisor's.  I'm the nut on the right reading the Atlantic City Weekly.  Who do you "hang" with?  Are your friends as nutty as mine?

Actually, online I am quite social.
In real I am a bit of a loner.
I hang with my sister and her family, and my children and theirs.

What a GREAT shot...very cute! It's true they do say "you are known by the company you keep" and so I keep with married, friendly, funny, kid-and animal-loving people.....I usually call them my friends.

I use to be quite social, I went out partying all the time, but in the past year my so called friends have abandoned me, with exception to my online friends, and the only people I hang out with is my boyfriend, my daughter, his son and my parents. My real life friends, I guess decided since I am in college now and no longer being a burger jockey, that I have gotten to smart to hang with them,.... I dont know... but it urks me, I still want to party every once in a while!!!

.I had a lot of friends when I had a lot of money. LOL, But when one was gone so was the other. Family loved to come for the meals, but when no one contributed or helped to clean up. I started sevrving sandwiches. Then I just quit being available with proper warning or advance notice they would be here. Started spending my weekends where I wanted to not slaving over hot stove all day, cleaning after them the other half.
Yes it got where it really made me cranky.

My close circle of friends include Robert and Raymond, my buddies from my days on the road, Diane one of my best friends and of coarse Elena. I have other friends but these 4 are my closest and dearest.

I love the picture. I am a woman who hangs out and plays poker with a bunch of guys on Saturday night. We have a close knit bunch of family and friends that we often spend time with.

With 5 young children I do a lot of hanging with the kids...lol. Me and hubby get away sometimes here and there to just hang out together. I do a lot with my mom. I hang with my sister who is 21 and she is now married and I have a 5 month old niece that I adore "hanging out with." Me and my grandma even hang out. And there are a few people from my church that I consider close friends... or family!

Even me and the PW (pastor's wife) like to hang out and go to the movies or go on walks. She just recently hurt her leg.... her husband, the pastor had just mopped the floor in our fellowship hall and she came in the room slipped and ripped the tendons and ligaments around her knee. So she's somewhat out of commision for going on walks with me until September. But I go over every so often to gab on her porch with her and I always bring the necessary iced mochas!

I'm a relic of another age, and all my old friends are dead. I have always preferred hanging out with dogs, cats, and horses better than with people. People are OK, especially my Gather friends, but for real life friends I do better with animals.

I love this photo - the moment I saw it it reminded me of many visits with Mr. Peanut when I was a kid in Schenectady NY where Mr. Peanut lived in a nut store in the 1950's. I guess that makes me a nut also.

In real life I am a friendly hugger - with many friends and lots of social life, most of it related to Wine. We work in the business (wine) and I paint signs on slate.

Two plus one of the signs I paint related to this article are - FAMILIES ARE LIKE FUDGE, MOSTLY SWEET WITH A FEW NUTS and ITS THE FRIENDS WE MEET ALONG LIFE'S ROAD THAT HELP US APPRECIATE THE JOURNEY and my favorite AN HOUR WITH GIRLFRIENDS AND A BOTTLE OF WINE IS A TRUE MEASURE OF WEALTH.
