kinda sad today, not sure if the fear of knowing or not knowing something is worse... Let me fill you in what I'm talkin about...My cat Ash is a wanderer and stays gone for a couple days at a time, my mom saw him sunday and we hadn't been anywhere til yesterday and I noticed  on the side of the road fur that looked like it matched him on a dead animal, usually he's come around by now and bein I haven't seen him now I'm worried it might be him, yet am too afraid to check. I know if I find out and it is him I'm gonna lose it yet not knowin is startin to get to me too, we live down a dirt road off a main highway and it's really hard to get acrossed it without gettin ran over (I'm serious) so not sure how we can get him anyways if it is him, I pray its a raccoon or another animal but I know somewhere in my heart I know its probably him. He is supposed to turn 3 years old June 9th and I would so love to still celebrate it with him. Ash has alot of problems just about a year and a half ago we lived with my sister in law and we just came home one day and saw her spray fly spray all over the porch where he was still laying. It got into his lungs bad and we had to take him to a vet, we thought we were gonna lose him then it was so bad, since then he hasn't been able to meow and has a hard time breathing through his nose he has to breathe with his mouth open. I hope its not him cuz although when he got older he chose to be outside all the time he was my lil talkative baby when he was a kitten, he used to say mama, and would hug your neck with his arms wrapped around. He'd watch movies with you, I don't know how I can see living without him he is my lil sunshine... :(

Silly question. Is he fixed? If not he is more than likely out with a lady friend. I have a couple that leave for a couple days.

I'm sorry Danyale, that is a terrible thing to feel, but wouldn't it be better to check it out and give him a nice resting place than to just wonder about it forever?

Hope that your cat comes home and that it's not him on the road. If I was you I would go see just so you can stop wondering. Plus you could give him a good burial.

if its anything like the last time i lost a animal like this i fell down in the road in tears so because of that i dont think it would be good for me to do im probably gonna give it til the end of the day hoping he comes home and then my husband said he'd go check then so pray for me its not him!! thanx everybody for the support im in tears today...
