Movies galore!

This is a good question. There are tons of good movies and I personally could not find just one. I love old movies though. Not a lot of bad language but a really good story line. I love stargate sg1 which is a science fiction series that was on television for ten years. I now have them on dvd so I do watch different episodes of that show regularly.

hmmmm 'What Dreams May Come' with Robin Williams... the picture was visual eyecandy for sure, but even though some things were off, its a wonderful movie about soul mates, and how they can even last the test of life and death. Its when true love becomes the breaching point between heaven and hell. In the very beginning of the movie, a couple loses their children from a car crash and things go down hill from there, the couple only having eachother to rely on and hold on to. If you are interested in 'what lies beyond' than this is a good watch, for it shares its own image of where we go, what rules their could be, and who we could run into again.

MUNICH - An absolutely great action movie, about the 1972 killing of the Isreali athletes by the Palestinians during the Olympics held in Germany. The movie is based on a gang of spies and trained assassins hired by the Isreali Prime Minister to track down each and every Palestinian who was present at the slaughter, and kill them. The suspense was an edge-of-your-seat kind and never let up either throughout the entire movie, and it was also an eye-opener as to what these trained assassins are truly capable of, and how they are trained by countries to do what they do. The movie ends with the paid assassin becoming a liability to the country of Isreal and so now he is being chased and hunted just as he chased and hunted down the Palestinians.

Excellent , excellent movie - a "buyer" for any collection.

Made it much more close to home for me because......
during that time period, my Home Economics teacher was dating Mark Spitzs the American Olympic swimmer when he was there and our government had to secretly fly him out of the country to save him from being killed too.

RENT. The musical is better, but the movie is great. It's such a life story.

OoOH. I LOVE RENT!

I love Losing Isaiah ..that's a great movie.. . I would recommend Life As a House. - it stars Kevin Kline as a dying man who decides to clean up his life by tearing down his eye-sore house, left to him by his father, I believe, and building a new one and in the process try to repair his relationship with his pierced, drug-taking, son whom he has neglected and "written off." He takes custody of him and forces him to come stay with him in this house that has no indoor shower, and many other problems. There is a lot going on the movie I don't have time to get into, but in the process of rebuilding the house, he manages to rebuild his relationship with his son,but also manages to accomplish a few other things .. it's a tearjerker and a great story.
