I've been neglecting my homophones. To make up for it, I am posting this homophonic fairy tale. Also, I will list a few others. I suggest all of you grab a couple and use both to make a sentence.
The heir to the candy fortune, as plain as bucket of vanilla ice cream, took to the air in a private plane. Her dog stretched out in the aisle as they went over a Greek isle. “Damn,” she thought, “this looks like Hoover Dam!” Her dog, Bearlee, could barely contain his enthusiasm. His fur stood up on end, tightly like a fir. “We’ll be at our house in an hour,” she said. He raised his head; he heard her, but he still wished he had a herd to boss around.
After landing, she descended the stairs amidst stares of onlookers. “Where is my son?” she thought as she squinted into the sun. Alas, her sole survivor was devoid of soul. He preyed upon his mother and his relatives all prayed that he would change. However, they could not wait for the weight of the future to change. It was too hard to see him go down.
Along the route to her villa, she pondered the root of his problems. On some occasions, she had given him the sum of many thousands of dollars to fix his current problems. He even made it with the maid! But he was too weak and would have the money squandered in a week or less. She knew what was right, but she couldn’t help but write more checks. He had a hole in his pocket that devoured his whole inheritance!
There he was, with some children and their parents! Did he not see her landing over the sea? Did he not hear that she was here? And she waited for him for four hours! Of course, he had to be coarse. He was probably in the inn, drinking Metaxa.
“I came here to heal, and you treat me like a heel!” she screamed.

From pix prints that I tied with a bow.
Though it makes me quite tense
That his folks live in tents
I know I can never say no.
No, wait. I'm sure that was wrong.
Really, do show the poor fellow the proper axe murder techniques.
