This week's Man of Gather for the 2007 Calendar was supposed to be Long Lost Eugene.

Unfortunately, Long Lost Eugene (faithfulsidekick) is no longer with us.

Let us bow our heads in prayer and wish him Godspeed in his new location in the sky.

(Can you imagine? A three sentence article for the Man of Gather Calendar Group? What will we think of next?)

I didn't know Eugene. This may be in poor taste to ask but....did he die? Or did he just stop doing the gather thing? I wasn't sure if "in the sky" meant he was somewhere in the afterlife, or somewhere in cyberspace, or...maybe he's just high? Anyway, I never knew him, but I still am bowing my head in silence. Goodbye, Long Lost Eugene. I guess I will never get to find you. :-(
