Liking - Linking - Lasting: my place is now yours

I'm the kind of person who thinks that if I know someone or something "cool", then everyone should know that someone or something "cool". So, I'm always linking people to other people on Gather, sending people articles or including people's names in photos that I post, so people can click on them and connect if they'd like.

I don't know if anyone else does this, and no one ever told me to do this, I just thought it was kind of a nifty idea. I guess I'd think it was pretty cool if I was cruising around and I saw that my name was clickable and someone was saying something positive about me, you know?

So have you ever wanted to tell everyone on Gather about someone or something "cool"? Are you connected to someone and you think that everyone should be connected to that person? Who should we check out? Who should we grace with our presence?  What articles should we read? What photos should we look at? What groups are worthy of our time?
