We have been working on teaching my three year old son the alphabet. I want to make some personal gifts for Christmas since I have tons of crafting supplies. ;) I came up with the idea of making him a small 6*6 or 8*8 scrapbook (I am going to look and see what albums I have on hand) of the alphabet using people and things that he loves. I still need items for L, N, Q, U, V AND X. Any ideas?
Now I am gathering up all of the photos I need for the album. I am going to be taking a lot of photos today so I can get them printed before the retreat in November.
Jacob loves looking at our other scrapbooks so I am sure he will love this gift!

Q-quail, queen
U-unbrella,unicycle
X-xylophone, xenops-(small birds with a longish tail, a laterally flattened bill )
should be fun!!!!!
N - nest
Q - queen
U - underwear??
V - vacation
X - xray
N-nut (maybe picture of Mr. peanut)
q-quilt (blanket with squares on it)
U-Up ^ (Maybe arrow pointing up)
V-Valentine heart with arrow through it. Kids recognize that.
X- maybe eXit (rectangle with the word exit and the X made much larger)
This is an excellent idea. Inexpensive gift for the other young kids. Especially with the little album being theirs alone. Putting their name in it too.
