Interesting. In my house we wrap things in foil, tuck them inthe darkest recesses of the fridge and when they rot and smell...we toss them. It is a very simple system.
Lol...I guess that's one way to handle it. I don't like to keep things too long in the fridge. Every Thursday is trash day so on Wed evening I clean the fridge. I don't mind science experiments mind you, just not in my fridge!
Not long here either! I cleaned out some canned goods again last week. I've made my official "clean out" day the day before our garbage service comes around.
Yay Dave & Debbie. Non-green food is edible. And I don't believe in those dumb sell-by expiration dates. It doesn't say you will die if you don't eat by xx-xx-xx.
