I had to cash out the other day so here I am trying to earn a few more points. I have finally given the boys some time for the summer. We are taking July and August as our summer break months. We'll start school again in September. It really worked out good for me because I had to have hand surgery. This is the kind of surgery I had - De Quervain's Tendinitis (De Quervain's Tendinosis) and Carpal Tunnel. I am on my 4th day from surgery and doing really well. I am really surprised that I am already typing. I just don't do it for very long at a time.
If anyone has any secrets how I can get my point value up high again, I'm all ears.

Tip for gaining points again....write often. It seems to be all about posting anymore. (hard for me to do) Enjoy your summer adn recover quickly from surgries!

I think the trick to getting more points is to
Rate and make a comment to posts and pictures.
Plus have people Rate and comment on your posts and pictures.
All I need is 63 more points for my Amazon Gift Card. Yipee.
I have no idea of how to make more points. I just do what I can do and be done with it.

The points have been moving at a snail's pace for most people. If you don't post and pull in enough page views, your points will barely move.
Tom Gerace has done some articles on how to earn more points. It basically boils down to writing things that pull in views from outside the community.

I am glad your surgery went well, I had a friend who went through the same not to long ago and she is back to typing as well...
I fear I may have to have the same someday soon....I can't do much with my hands before they start hurting...gardening is a real chore so I have to do it in increments...although I asked my friend and she said that carpal tunnel makes your hands numb...
But I am glad you are okay, I hope you have a great break!!
Hang in there but don't wait forever to have the surgery if you need it.
