Yesterday and Today

Yesterday we took the day off from school.  What a day!  It was really great.  We dropped the dog off at the groomers, went to Walmart, stopped by the tractor (Kabota) place, went to the bike trail and on and on.

Back in September we bought our youngest son a bike for his birthday.  The dog gone thing broke after about 2 weeks.  It was a bolt that broke.  It would never have broke if it would have been put together right in the first place.  It has taken us this long to finally getting around to taking it back to Walmart.  I am amazed that they were going to exchange the bike.  But they didn't sell that one anymore.  The lady checked in the back and the guy that puts the bikes together had another bolt.  I was amazed.  They gave us the bolt instead of exchanging the bike.  I was fine with that.  The bolt had spacers on it and it needed to be shortened but that is it.  So...we headed down to the Kabota place (where my hubby worked at one time) and the mechanic fixed the bike for us.  I could have waited and let my hubby fix it but we all wanted to bike ride...And we did.

Our bike ride was awesome!  We rode for a little over 6 miles.  I have been wanting to take the boys on one of the "Rails to Trails" bike rides and I finally was able to.  Spring is certainly in the air.  There was lots of flowers starting to bloom along the trail.

After our bike ride we picked up the dog from the groomer.  She sure was glad to see us!  LOL  I took the boys to Sonic and they enjoyed drinking a Sonic Blast.

Today - I worked on getting the garden in shape for us to plant.  We hope to have a nice garden this year too.  I left the Kale that is growing right now.  It won't be long before I will have to take it out.
