Some days I think it's best if I just stay in bed. LOL
Really though...Think about this.
I run into a neighbor the other day and we do our howdies and hellos. Then we talk about a little shopping trip (I do it once a month). This neighbor mentions to me that I always go before their check comes in. If I would wait another week that they would ride with me. Ok - not a problem. But....
My monthly trip takes me about 4 hours. I generally have our 3 kids with me. I use coupons and I compare with sale papers (price match). It takes some thinking on my part. I have to drive about 30 minutes each way (not a real big deal). Simply put - I dread it. I dread it with just me and the boys but I dread it more with company. Even my husband on this trip will drive me nuts.
Now the kicker...
My vehicle has over 262,000 - yes two hundred sixty two thousand miles on it. Why can't we just go one day when I don't have to worry about anything and drive the neighbors car?

I always tried to do it alone, but with being so sick, I mainly shop with my husband or send him and he calls me from the store. I can send him with a list, but he always calls several times from the store.
I don't think it would bother me to grocery shop with someone else. I always have a list, but since we don't get an ad, I look at just about everything that we eat a lot of to see if anything is on sale that we might need within the next month or two (we shop twice a month). It doesn't take me THAT long to shop, but it's definitely not a quick 15 minute trip either. As long as the person with me understood that, we would be fine.
