Most of you know the situation with my mother-in-law, Merci. She has stomach cancer. They don't expect her to last more than a week, so my husband and I flew from Ohio to LA and we just arrived!
Please say a prayer...this is a very difficult time for the family. People are coming from Costa Rica today also and I have a feeling that she is holding on until everyone gets here.
To make things worse, my professional digital camera and lens was stolen from the first airplane that we took today! Between the camera and lens, the total value is $2900.00. I made a police report, and I do have it insured, but I need it now. Oh well, C'est la vie! Que sera, sera. That is secondary to my mother-in-law.
I won't have service where I am staying, so I will have to go to coffee places.
I will try to check in when I can.

Im sorry to hear about your camera. I will never understand people and the things that they do. I hope that you are able to replace it or use someone elses during this time. Bless your heart and I hope that everyone is alright.
