Hey all, Hope everyone is doing good. I've been busy, like usual.
For those that read or commented, about two weeks ago I posted about having a bad cold. Well, I went to the doctor and he gave me a perscription for some anti-boitics. My cold went away but the feeling of fluid in my right ear still hasn't. Even after running the full coruse of medicine. So, I'm going to call on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday) to make an apt, again. Another $30 for the co-pay! Bummer! But, I hate being sick and would like to feel 100% better.
Other news, my mom was in the hospital last week. She has lupus and often has thing pop up. Well, she was feeling tired very easy for over a week and ended up going in and- long story short- an anti-biotic she was taking was causing her to be anemic. She had to have two blood transfusions, some platelets and some blood booster stuff (nurse said the blood booster thing cost $24,000- no, I did not add too many zeros, for one iv bag of it). So, she was there, in the hospital, for 5 days and thankfully is home now.
My van was in the shop too. The transmission went out on it. It cost $1505 to rebuilt it and I was lucky enough to drive my step-dad's or mom's car for a few days. The mechanic let me pay him $800 and said I can make payments on the rest! I do NOT have the money to have a new bill right now but I can not have a car either. Always trying to get caught up!!!
I went garage sale-ing today and found NOTHING but went to a few houses getting rid of 'misc garage stuff' on Freecyle and found lots. Not really for eBay but lots for us. A big container of tinker toys. A kitchen-sized trash bag of lincoln logs. A plastic 5-shelf thing with deep shelves to try to organize my eBay stuff, and lots of misc things.
Finally, I have a new blog. Lots of great stuff in it. Homeschooling, single parenting, eBay tips, frugal living, etc. Please check it out. You can also sign up with Yahoogroups to get an email when new things are posted. I have a few advertisements on the blog too so I will hopefully make some money while I enjoying writing on it.

I've had a ear ache for two years, come May -- been to the doctor a year and half ago; said, "I don't know. Looks fine to me, that'll be $80.00, please."
I should have saved the eighty bucks.

I'm sorry that things are hitting you so hard and all at once! Your health is so important, because if you don't have your health your screwed!
I have Lupus too (SLE) and have had to have transfusions!

I'm sorry about all of the trials that you have been going through. The Lord bless you and you mother and give you both perfect health and meet all of your needs.
I have a question to ask you that I alway ask myself when I notice I am having money troubles. Have you been paying your tithes? Usually I can look back and see that I forgot to do that. If you have, just hold on, the Lord will make a way somehow.
