My cell phone rang today, and when I answered it, I heard the sound of buttons being pushed, and then "I need help." The caller ID indicated that the call was from my daughter's phone, and I started to get a little worried when I just heard some rustling after the declaration of needing help. "Hello, Lacey?" I questiond, "hello?" And then I heard the surprised voice of my four-year-old grandson, "It's Grandma Beanie!" as if he had no idea why he could hear me talking to him through the phone.
He had apparently made off with the cell phone, which he had stolen from the counter, and accidentally hit my number on the speed dial. Both he and his Momma were pretty surprised that Grandma was on the phone! TeeHee!!! At least he didn't accidentally call 911 and say "I need help"!

It's kind of funny and kind of scary a little bit, huh?
Hahahahahahahhaha!
Of course, I followed up to adjust the charges when the bill came.
I told the parents that they should have let the little one continue talking.
German language lessons for FREEEE.
How can you beat, "for free."
Too bad my veterinarian, doctor, etc. were also in my phone book.
When I was a kid, the only person I could get was the operator...
I love it!
