Do you intend the ambiguity in the fourth line? ("Don't go, cougar" versus "Don't go cougar.") Without the comma, some shapeshifting seems implied.

I think what I meant ( and perhaps did not make it very clear) was that owl told me not to go because there were cougar roaming in the woods. Yes, that comma would have made it more clear. Thanks Ann. It happened as this says at about 3am on the farm. I was warned and I listened to the message of the owl.
