Open to artists 18 years of age and older in MA, RI, CT, ME, VT. Boston based independent curator looking for art to include in exhibition proposal for New England venue. No entry fee. This exhibition is inspired by the plight of the disappearing American farmer. No matter the era, farms in America have always met with their challenges; men left for war, operation costs increased, production challenges arose, and in many ways the downfall has been inevitable for certain farming communities when competition is strong and the lack of unity and cohesion proliferates.
