Expressions West 2007, Coos Art Museum’s annual juried competition for painters from the 13 western United States will run April 27 – June 30, 2007. Artists residing in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Original paintings in one or a combination of four media: oil, acrylic, pastel, or watercolor. Any and all themes of expression define the parameters of acceptable entries. Cash Purchase Awards: 1st Place: $5000, 2nd Place: $3000, 3rd Place: $2000. Entry fee.
